Hi Dillesh,
1. I am using the
GMAT Official Guide and also Quantitative and Verbal Review.
2. The range of scores vary a lot. I take ones that I get from my University, so its hard copy (and made by teachers..). The score depend on how many questions you have answered correctly. However, there is not really a split in the sections of Quantitative or Verbal. I just took a CAT last day but I can't find my scoring...
3. Depends on which days. If I have the day off, I will spend around 8/9/10 hours.. If I had to work, I spend around 2/3 hours..
4. I am currently working. However, since the GMAT is plannend, I have been working part-time instead of full time..
Greetings!
Hi,
Material you are using is best. Also, you are devoting enough time to GMAT per day/week already. Its advised to do
OG at least twice. If you don't have enough time, try to solve last 100 of each section at least.
Since, you have only 10 days left, you have to do timed practice now as per GMAT structure. Select any 31 questions of quants (16PS & 15 DS prefereably) and try to solve in 62 min, and same goes for verbal (36 questions, 12 each of SC,CR,RC approximately in 65 minutes). This will help you a lot.
The mocks which you are giving should be adaptive. Try GMAT Prep free mocks (1 & 2), if you can buy another pack of 2 tests, that would be best (pack 3 & 4) and try giving in these days.
If not pack 3 & 4, you can get free mocks from Manhattan & Veritas etc, which are a good source
Regarding your mistakes, you must already know that questions in
OG are in increasing order of difficulty, so its natural that you might make more mistakes towards the end questions. So, never mind the mistakes. Important is to try and understand the concepts of each of the questions as the questions in real exam will be as similar to
OG/QA/VR.
If i have to keep my nerves in place, i just know that i can take re-test after 16 days of the exam. Just give your exam as it is an another mock. This helps me a lot. I hope it will help you too.
All the best.
