We will start posting questions on Monday August 24th and will end on Friday Sept 4th.
Questions will be posted Monday through Friday (no questions on Sat or Sun)
Questions will be posted in the CR, SC, DS, and PS forums (no RC)
Questions will be posted at 8 AM and 8 PM Pacific Standard US Time
There will also be a daily BONUS Challenge question that will be posted randomly during the day/night. The link will be featured on GMAT Club's Instagram - Make sure you subscribe to our Instagram account to be notified when the BONUS Challenge question is posted! The same rules and rewards apply to the bonus question

That you can see in your error log - all stats for your daily attempted timer questions...
Dashboard will only give you i think hot timer question details and points scored against question and 30 timers..
In error logs you can see your stats for daily number of question attempted

I can see only for those HOT questions which I attempted, say 9 questions. For remaining, non-HOT, I cannot see the number of quesitons.

New set of questions coming at 8 AM Pacific

Also points will be getting updated after 8 AM (not instantly) but by the time you are done with new questions all of your points for yesterday's first batch of questions along with 30-timer bonus should be pospting. You will see the details in your personal dashboard that's built into the first post of this discussion.

I see it is added for everyone else. Usually it is people's inability to count to 30 within the proper timeframe.
I have had to do it last year and count up people's timers for the 24 hrs specified in the first post. We never found an issue with the points system.... I think i started a service offering to count people's timers for a fee ($10 charge and if I find a bug/glitch it is refunded but if the number of timers is incorrect then I get to keep it). nobody took me up on it :lol:

Lol..That's a good wager. I'm willing to bet if one of the rules is clear to me. :D The competition started at 8 am PST and the rule says,"Taking 30 timers in one day (Points awarded at Noon PST the following day)". So, will the last day be counted to a total of 16 hours till 12 am PST or will it be a full 24 hour period? Because if the last day ended in 16 hours then I will fall short of 30 ,but if you include the full 24 hour period, then we can proceed with the counting as it is way beyond 30. :tongue_opt3

Yesterday, i was awarded 3 timers points totalling 30 and nothing else. Just now i see my score at 200 for two kudos only, no timers or posts. So scores are not being counted for
1. Timer attempts(attempted all within 1 hr time frame) using GC app
2. Posting solutions (within 1 hr time frame) using GC app
3. Possibly for Kudos if attempts/posts are not being counted.
4. 30 timers(unless questions from HOT competitions and Gmatclub quant questions are not eligible to be counted).

Additionally my error logs shows 39 Questions attempted in the last 24 hrs window. However, what is funny is that error log stats show only 5 questions attempted. If needed i can share the screenshot.

Can you look into it?

Moderators, experts, tutors and instructors are not eligible to earn points.

They can still participate but they will not be able to earn points for themselves or their teams.

As a school moderator you fall into that group since you can see other folks replies and edit posts.... :angel:

Thanks for replying. I had this gut feeling that came true. But as a school moderator i can't see the solutions posted by fellow members nor i can edit. Don't know what is wrong with highlighted part.

Guess i should have known that earlier. Hahaha... :lol:

Sorry. It was not an intention to take the wind out of you. (Their contributions or points do not count obviously)

I guess I could strip you of your moderator rights if you would like that :-) and give them back to you after the competition... that’s an option.... I guess. Just thinking out loud.
