Hello,
Nice job on the overall GMAT score and solid past academics. Yes your GMAT quant could be higher; would likely be more of an issue at M7/top 10 US schools than others, and at least yes you have quantitative evidence in your transcript later on. I would say it would be important for the schools to see some leadership and impact during your work experience to date, fyi, and community involvement would be a plus. I'm not sure if you are US-based now or if you have lived internationally? As that could be something to highlight. ESADE would be tougher than Warwick but hopefully you'd have a shot at either with strong applications. Also quick thought that the airline industry direction could sound like too much of jump unless you do a lot of due diligence/research on it and are able to make some connections in terms of skills and perspective from what you do now to that.... you'll want to focus on creating a strong, ambitious but also realistic career goal story for your apps.
Thank you for your feedback Jen. Are there specific types of community involvement that are viewed more favorably than others? On a personal level, I am on a leadership committee in my church and have made several donations to non-profit organizations this year. I am a US citizen but did live abroad in Taiwan for 14 months after graduating and also studied and interned in Shanghai while in college. As a result of those experiences, I do have an interest in an overseas degree, although I plan to apply mostly to schools in the US. Lastly, regarding my interest in the airline industry and given my work history, would it be better to say that I generally want to be involved in the industry, or to say that I want to pursue a very specific job path within the industry? I would assume the latter is the way to go.
