I'm curious to understand at what point individual test takers decide to keep their score. When did you decided you were happy with your score?

I think I am not yet 'happy' with my GMAT score. But after reading your post, I realized what would be my ideal score.

Before that, I gave my GMAT yesterday and I scored 640 (with just 1 month prep and a lot of overconfidence). Not a great score and I was confused. So after reading your post I re-visited some of my ideal schools and saw their mean GMAT score. I then came to a conclusion that based on my profile (college senior, still. Launched my own company, went for venture capitalists recently, 3.8 CGPA from NYU and so on) that a score of 720 will be ideal for me. Now that I know where I went wrong, I shall try to give it once more and get the score I want... Hope this helps.
