Guys,
I started my GMAT preparation from January 1st onwards and my diagnostic score was 460 ( V 17 ,Q 37 ) . My aim is to score 700 with split scores as ( V36, Q 49). I started my Verbal prepartion with Sentence Correction.
I have Veritas and Mahattan SC correction guide with me. I completed Sentece correction part from "Foundation of GMAT Verbal " and then started reading Manhattan SC guide.
Please answer my queries
1. What is the approach i need to follow to study Manhattan SC guide ?
2. How to practice
OG questions?
3. When to start working on GMAT SC forum on GMATCLUB ?
4. How to check my accuracy on each SC topic like (parllelism, S-V agreement) ?
5. Do i need to follow any other books along with the above books?
Hi pardhunani143,
Manhattan SC is the holy grail for SC.
1. What is the approach i need to follow to study Manhattan SC guide ?
You should start from there itself, read the chapters and then solve the questions at the end. Re-read the concepts till you dont get them.
2. How to practice
OG questions?
Finish the Manhattan SC and then start OG11. It is the best
OG when it comes to explanations for SC.
You can follow this with
OG 13.
3. When to start working on GMAT SC forum on GMATCLUB ?
Once you are done with Manhattan SC guide, you can start SC practice from gmatclub.
4. How to check my accuracy on each SC topic like (parllelism, S-V agreement) ?
On Gmatclub, there are questions sorted according to topics and difficulty, use them. Analyse the accuracy using the statistics that gmatclusb offers.
5. Do i need to follow any other books along with the above books?
You do not need anything beyond Manhattan SC.
