Hey Guys,

Is startup experience valid/counted for the executive MBA program?

Certainly, yes. It would be counted as any other work experience provided it is full-time.

Hi

Am having 14 years of IT experience, aspiring for joining IIMB, does the EPGP intake consider the applicants?

The experience range for the current class for the EPGP is 5.3-12.2 years. Also, IIMB states that it prefers that applicants have less than 12 years of experience. Thus, your chances will be quite low owing to the experience factor.

Hi,

IIM B prefers candidate with upto 12 years of work experience. However, you can consider IIM C PGPEX since they are open to admitting candidates with higher work experience.

Hi,

Can anybody advise on the IIMB course: Management Programme for Entrepreneurs and Family Businesses (MPEFB-11)
Since have 14 years of IT experience, doesnt allow for EPGP, does MPEFB provide similar platform for Entrepeneurship?

Hi,

I attended the EPGP information event and interacted with officials. They said that the 12 year on the maximum side is not rigid and they will consider experience more than that also if you make a good case for admission.

Cheers.

ss3617,

Agree that IIMB will evaluate applicants with work experience more than 12 years. But in our experience as admissions consultants since past 8 years, chances of getting in drastically reduce if you are above age .
That said, i'd encourage Srinavyas to apply still, because you only get that one chance and you will not know until you try.
But its better to cover yourself by applying to more programs.
