I am a r-1 admit and had my WAT on skype.

WAT will happen 30 min before your interview. You will get a link which will enable your comp screen to an invigilator. Do this 5 min before start of your WAT timer. After that you will receive an email with the topic. You need to write around 250 words on it. Take your stand on the topic and present it coherently ending with a conclusion. It should be in a paragraph format and not bullet points. Make sure you have 5 min left for proof reading.

Also, do not panic out too much over it. Just calmly think about what stand you want to take and why and quote the same. After you are done just email back your response to the same id.

Good luck!

Three things you'd suggest for the interview.

Ha! Why three?

My Interview was around my work, my industry, and recent global happenings around the world. For instance, i was asked if I agree on India's stand on Rohingyas scenario, the impact of GST on my industry. Some others were asked on demonetization, US presidential elections and its impact on the Indian market, Brexit etc.

It was a panel of 3 faculty members. It wasn’t grilling but it also wasn’t very chilled out as well. There will be few follow-up questions based on your responses.

Good luck!

Hi!

Thanks, this helps a lot.

I am giving the interview via Skype. So, I just called up the admissions committee to find out about the process, and they mentioned that:
- The topic for WAT will be provided by the admissions committee 30 minutes before the PI.
- The answer has to be written, and sent as pdf to the committee. After they have received it, they will put me in a virtual waiting room, before moving on to the interview round.

Can you tell what your WAT topic was? Was it in any way related to your SOP or your previous experience?

Hello All

I applied for EPGP in round 2. Unfortunately my application didn’t get through. I have a GMAT score of 730 and 5+ years of IT experience with good academics - 92% in X, 97.6% in XII, 87% in Graduation. Is there any way to find out what went wrong so that I can work on it and make sure it is correct while applying for any other universities?

Waitlisted - CWL19

Anyone with an idea on the chances of converting that into an admit offer?

Thank You!

I am at 19 and someone on 'PagalGuy' website told me that my chances are 70%.

You should be much more optimistic!

Ha, I wish just the GMAT scores were enough to get into MBA programs :)

I'm a BITS Pilani grad (CGPA: 6.53) with 10+ years of experience. Worked on three different start-ups over the past 8 years.

Had been worried about my CG as well as more than required yrs of WE.
