I need some guidance regarding my chances in IIM B EPGP 2018.
GMAT:710 Q 49, V 38
GPA: 7.67/10 B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Std X - 82% & Std XII - 65%
Exp: Presently working in L&T. Total Exp 6Yrs 3Months . 3 years experience in Field Construction & Commissioning of Coal & Gas Power Plants. 3+ Years in Project Planning & Cost Control.

Professional Achievements:
Led 660MW Boiler Pressure Parts Erection and Commissioning activities in India
Was later designated by Management to be Project Planning & Cost Controller for Steam Turbine & Auxiliaries.
Achieved “Best Safe Engineer “award from client for the year 2013.
Achieved first prize for best “Slogan on Industrial Safety” at site.
Achieved BU trophy for best performance in quality.

Since I work location involves Construction Sites, I hardly get opportunity for doing Social Activities. However I am associated with World Vision India for past 3 years for sponsoring study cost of a girl child.

Can you advice, should I apply for this program ???

Absolutely go for it. You have all the elements needed to get shortlisted fr intv. Make sure your goals are alligned with tour past exp. A clear well written SOP and good LoR should definitely give you a interview. If you do well in your intv I think you have high probability to get admitted. Good luck!

Hi,

I am planning to apply in the 2nd round of IIM B epgp program. I have a GMAT Score of 710 and would have 56 months of experience by March 2018 in American International Group as a product line consultant. X- 80.2% and 12th- 78.6%. Btech from Delhi College of Engineering - 70%. I am invovled with habitat fror humanity and rotaract club. Organized TED event in college. What are the chances of getting into the epgp program? Also, would my application be considered considering i am 4 months short of minimum 5 years experience?

I am a r-1 admit and had my WAT on skype.

WAT will happen 30 min before your interview. You will get a link which will enable your comp screen to an invigilator. Do this 5 min before start of your WAT timer. After that you will receive an email with the topic. You need to write around 250 words on it. Take your stand on the topic and present it coherently ending with a conclusion. It should be in a paragraph format and not bullet points. Make sure you have 5 min left for proof reading.

Also, do not panic out too much over it. Just calmly think about what stand you want to take and why and quote the same. After you are done just email back your response to the same id.
