The units' digit of x^3 and the units' digit of x are the same.
x=5,6,4
insufficient
#2
The units' digit of x^2 is 6
x=4,6
from 1 &2
x=6,4
sufficient

Given: Units digit > 1

Statement 1:
Units digit of x^3 is same as units digit of x

4^1 = 4 - units digit = 4
4^3 = 64 - units digit = 4

Similarly,
5^1 = 5
5^3 = 125

6^1 = 6
6^3 = 216

9^1 = 9
9^3 = 729

Possible units digits of integer x = 4,5,6 or 9

Statement 2:
The units digit of x^2 is 6

4^2 = 16
6^2 = 36

Possible units digit of integer x = 4 & 6.

Combining statement 1 & 2:

Possible units digit of integer x = 4 & 6. No clear answer. Hence answer is Option E.
