\(x + 5y = 16\) ===> Eq. (1)

\(x = -3y\) ===> Eq. (2)

We will substitute the value of \(x\) Equation (2) in Equation (1)

\(-3y + 5y = 16\)

\(2y = 16\)

\(y = 8\)

Hence, Answer is E
