MS Automotive Engineering - Clemson University USA, 2011 - 13 - 3.7/4
Work Experience - total 8 years in Automotive R&D (6 years experience in USA working for Big 3s!)
HeroMotoCorp (India) - Field Service Engineer; 2009 to 2011
Cummins Inc (USA) - Sr. Performance Development Engineer; 2013 to 2016
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (USA) - Engine Controls Engineer; 2016 to June 2017

I am also a guy who got admit at PGPX with 8+ automotive R&D exp. Take your GMAT. Be clear on your goals. Prepare well.

You have a really good profile and most of your experience and academic credentials are similar to what current and previous pgpx admits from automotive background had. You international experience will also be valued at PGPX as there is separate weightage for it.
There are few things you have not mentioned but which IIMA pgpx specifically asks in its application are: awards/recognition at work, extra-curricular activities and self development certifications or courses(if any). It asks you to list down 1-5 such activities for each section. I would advise you to seriously prepare for GMAT (targeting 700+) keeping all these aspects in mind. If you are weak in any of these areas you can try to work and get exposure in the next one year and build a stronger profile.
