- which correctly modifies p421 and since the underlined statement is a fact so the correct tense is present tense. Correct Answer.
B) a mammalian enzyme that neutralized a wide range of volatile organic compounds including chloroform, benzene and carbon tetrachloride
-Tense Error. I think that this option is a noun + noun modifier that modifies p421 and is correctly used. (correct me here??)
C) which is an enzyme that neutralizes a wide range of mammalian volatile organic compounds including chloroform, benzene and carbon tetrachloride
- mamalian is an adjective that should modify enzyme and so it is misplaced. Wrong.
D) which is a mammalian enzyme including chloroform, benzene and carbon tetrachloride that neutralizes a wide range of volatile organic compounds
- C,B and CTs are examples of volatile organic compounds and not enzymes. Also, that modifies CT which is incorrect here.
E) which neutralized a wide range of volatile organic compounds including mammalian enzyme, chloroform, benzene and carbon tetrachloride
- mamalian enzyme is not an example of VOC. Wrong.
