$$Y = \frac{\frac{4}{m}}{\frac{1}{m}+\frac{2}{x}}$$

In the expression above, what is the value of Y if $$xm ≠ 0$$ and $$m = \frac{1}{2}*x$$?

(A) 1
(B) 3/2
(C) 5/3

m = x/2
1/m = 2/x

Substituting this into the given expression, we get

(4/m) / (1/m)+(1/m) ---> (4/m) / (2/m) ---> 2

Since m = ½ * x, x = 2m. Substitute 2m for x in the expression:

(4/m)/[1/m + 2/(2m)]

(4/m)/(1/m + 1/m)

(4/m)/(2/m)

4/m * m/2 = 2
