Hi,

Profile: I am a science under-grad from one of India's prestigious institute. I am working as management consultant working with Government of India. I have a GMAT score of 690(Q47, V36)

Concern: I have an Integrated Reasoning score of 1.0 on my last GMAT. This happened as the result of unforeseen debilitating nausea. Owing to very little time to complete this section of the test, I was left making uninformed guesses on every question. However, I scored IR score of 6.0 on my previous GMAT.

Need advice around: I am keen to know how INSEAD interprets IR scores. I also want to know if my low IR score raises a red flag despite my decent GMAT score. Moreover, is there anything I can do to counter that.

I plan to apply in Round 1 for Jan 2018 intake ( March 15th deadline)

Hey there,
Well, no matter how you look at it, a 1 is really low. And since your 690 could ALSO be improved, and you have time, I would suggest considering a retake.
