With simple expressions, it is easy to look for simple examples.
This is an Alternative approach.

(1) Say 2n = 1. Then n = 1/2, not an integer. Say 2n = 0. Then n = 0, an integer.
Insufficient.

(2) Say n/2 = 1. Then n = 2, an integer. Similarly, for any integer k, if n/2 = k then n = 2k, an integer.
Sufficient
