Is the value of x2+xy equal to 0?
x2+xy = x(x+y)
(1) x = 0
so, x(x+y) = 0 sufficient
(2) y = 0
but no info about x. if x= 0. x2+xy equal to 0
if, x= 1, x2+xy not equal to 0 insufficient
correct answer A
