Hi All,
I am an engineer and MBA (2 year) by education and have over 9 years of experience in the the government sector.
I am desperately looking for some guidance as to which college would be the best for me as a one year MBA programme.
I know that ISB and IIMs are similarly ranked colleges. However, people have suggested that owing to my work experience (9.5 years), I would find it hard during placements at ISB (which typically has a batch experience of 5 years). I am interested in knowing how ISB stacks up against IIM Bangalore (EPGP programme) when it comes to placement opportunities for an experienced professional such as me.
Grateful for the help.

Two things here:
1. Firstly, IIMB is now doe with its deadlines for this year. So if you are still to apply, you would have missed the chance now. In comparison, ISB has introduced a third deadline for January 15th.
2. Secondly, ISB has a huge class size of 900+. You will find outstanding learning opportunities and build a wider network. There is also a senior executive club, where you can hobnob with people closer to your experience. Yes, you will have to work harder than the rest of the class for your recruitment. however, I'd say the b-school should still be in your consideration.
