Can someone please explain how the OA is D and not C? I assumed the pendulum times will be proportional.

Posted from my mobile device

It takes 7 seconds for a clock for 3 interval movement ('n' hours, 'n-1' intervals)
For 10 interval movements, it takes (7/3)*10 = 21 (1/3) seconds. D is the answer.
Thanks. Your explanation makes sense. The question didn't seem to.
