we dont know whether they reach 0 before year end, so for me D is wrong.
using both 1 and 2
B - 1200 = 2J - 2400
B - 1800 = 4J - 7200
From here J = 2100 B = 3000, where B and J are the starting balances
So both accounts will be empty before year end

State 1 j = x , b = 2x April 15
X = 300 b = 600 in June = 0 and July b = 0 ... not suff

Stat 2 - not suff
X-600 = 4 (2X-600)
X-600= 8X-2400
7X= 1800 X = 257.1
B = 1028 on April 15...
So by end of year both accounts will have 0 balance ...

E answer
