can someone please explain why A is not the answer for this question? in-the-past-electric-motorcycles-were-impractical-because-of-their-324897.html

According to me, electric motorcycles have the additional advantage of easier maintenance & low costs. But if gasoline motorcycles are able to incorporate that as well, then doesn’t it cast a doubt on the electric motorcycles gaining popularity?

But ’A’ just talks about one of those advantages being incorporated and not both. Also lets assume a significant percentage of motor cyclists don’t prefer smaller motor cycles... then too ’A’ wouldn’t work.

By choosing a smaller, more basic gasoline powered motorcycle, a rider can come close to duplicating the low operating costs of an electric motorcycle. - This is actually saying that I need to choose a smaller, more basic gasoline powered motorcyle to lower my cost. But why would I do that when I can go for an electrical motorcyle, which any way cost less that GP motorcycles as per the argument? If at all, it strengthens. Look at it this way, ’A rider can come close to duplicating the low operating costs of an electric motorcycle by choosing a smaller, more basic gasoline powered motorcycle!’

No, read the first explanation in which he tells that removing dandelions might have caused the soil disturbance.
But it could be possible that dandelions are removed without disturbing soil
