I'm reworking my resume now to tailor it more for my MBA application, and I'm wondering if I should be keeping my internships on there.
As a background:
- Graduated in 2010
- Only two full-time jobs since then, one for a little less than a year and one for the rest of the time. In my current role I've been promoted 3x, so I'll be focusing most of my efforts there.
- I've had internships at a handful of high level media companies where I was doing real work.
Also some things I want to consider are jobs I held on campus. I started a radio station while I was there and managed 20 DJs and radio staff, so I think it's important to show that on the resume as well even though it was in college.
Thoughts?
Oh yes, definitely keep it. In fact, you even explained yourself why it is relevant in the description of the internship. So make sure you highlight the management experience there in order for it to be as beneficial as possible for you.Oh yes, definitely keep it.
