Just another possible idea:
Today was actually the last day of interviews as far as I am aware. So it may be rolling in that you may be rejected before the july 29th date if you do not receive an invitation to interview. This makes sense as they might as well let those candidates know since they are certain no more interviews would be given (assuming that today truly was the final interview day). This could potentially explain the three people being rejected today.
Additionally, it makes sense to start releasing decisions after today now that they have interviewed every candidate. I wouldnt be surprised if decisions started rolling next week (probably not today as we are headed into the weekend and may want time to think about all the candidates interviewed this week).
Does anyone have any idea of how selective they were with giving out interviews? I know there has been a little speculation so I was wondering if anyone recently has gotten more insight into how many people they are looking to accept from interviews.
Best of luck to everyone...also dont get discouraged by rejections given this is only the first opportunity any of us have had in terms of applying to MBA schools and we will have many more opportunities in the future
