Hello in my opinion target the Sweden schools such as Umea University,University of Gothenburg (gmat score starts from 350) and Lund university (having a Gmat is added advantage)

I agree that Swedish universities don't emphasize much on gmat score as admission requirements. But getting a scholarship may weigh in gmat score considerably in many good MIM programs. If you are not concerned with getting scholarship, then you can now focus on your application.

Best wishes for you

Hey akashjogi,

Having a low GMAT score doesn’t mean you should give up on your application. If your profile is fairly good there is always a chance to compensate for your low GMAT score with your other profile strengths like Extracurriculars or your achievements etc.

Talking about your GMAT score no doubt it is on the lower end of the scale and I’d say that retaking the GMAT is the most direct solution to the problem. Try to target a score of 680+ this time if you want to get into the Top-B schools like HEC Paris, or ESSEC, etc.

If you wish to start your application with this GMAT score I’d say try to target a mix of schools that do and do not have a mandatory GMAT Requirement. Some of the schools you can target would be UCD, TCD, Grenoble. You can also apply for IE Business school as they have their own exam IEGAT
You can also target the universities where there is no minimum limit for GMAT. Although you’ll have to highlight your other profile strengths in order to make your profile stand out yet it would be worth taking a chance if you think you have a good profile.

I would need more details about your profile to give an in-depth analysis and more school suggestions. So I’d suggest that if you want to more clarity on what are your strengths and weaknesses and what are the parts on which you can improve upon in your profile you can simply take up our free profile evaluation and get a Comprehensive assessment of your profile https://mim-essay.com/profile-evaluation?gcf

I would say that wether it matters or not depends on your overall profile for which you haven't given lots of details

Also, adding to this - I have created a list of Schools that do not mandatorily need a GMAT/GRE score, it has some top schools as well. You can check it out here: https://www.mim-essay.com/blog/business ... uire-gmat/

Try to plan it again. I think it depends on the university. To correct and improve my assessment I recommend Paperial where you can get professional solving math problems at college. Anyway, you can try apply to university. We are not born shy, too timid or anxious, we acquire these features throughout our lives, encountering different situations and people, getting this or that experience. Our relationships with parents and other adults are key to developing a sense of self-confidence or not. According to Anne Pajarinen, head of Career Services at the University of Konstanz, graduates of various specialties have different problems. "There are many students in our university studying the humanities and social sciences. Do not completely shift the responsibility for their own neurosis and psychological problems to parents. Self-doubt can be a defining characteristic of a person, but more often it manifests itself only in certain aspects of life. You are a confident professional, but you have problems communicating with friends and building close relationships ... You do very well with the tasks that your boss gives you, but you lose your footing when you need to raise the issue of raising your salary ... You can definitely enter university)

I score 580 on my GMAT. I'm planning to give it again, I just wanted to know however, that which are the universities that'll accept my application even with this score

Hi, just wanted to check in on how is it going for you. Did you retake by any chance?
In case you are planning to apply with the current score, here are 3 action steps that you can use to get into a good program:

- Apply to a mix of schools - Some with a mandatory GMAT requirement and others without it. ( Eg: EDHEC, Grenoble, NUS, Skema, ANU)
- Highlight other elements of your profile to compensate your score. I am sharing some strategies that we used to help clients with major profile weaknesses get into top schools, this might give you a direction on how to work on your own.
