Hi everyone,
I have applied to two Masters of Accounting programs (Georgia State University and Mercer University) and I have a pretty low GMAT score (440) and a major GPA of 3.26. However, I have a lot of work experience, four account internships to be exact, and another one coming up with a mid-tier accounting firm in audit this summer.
Georgia State University has an average GMAT score of 550 and average GPA of 3.2. Georgia State also requires one letter of recommendation, I sent in two, and has 2 essays and an optional essay. I did all three essays and am confident that both my letters of recommendation and essays are excellent.
Mercer Unicersity has an average GMAT score of 530 and an average GPA of 3.19. They require no essays or letter of recommendations but I sent in two letters regardless.
My top choice would be Georgia State University but I want to ask all of you that have already been accepted into Masters of Accounting programs what are the chances that I will be accepted into either?
Looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say!
