Hey there,

So I definitely have to weigh in on e-gmat. I did not use magoosh so I can't speak of it. But I found E-gmat to be great. It’s actually what helped me break the V35 I was constantly getting. My last Gmatprep exam I actually got a V44. But I guess the test day anxiety took a toll on my verbal.

I have to admit that I did a couple of combinations for verbal. I started with MGMAT books for SC and RC, then used Powerscore’s LR bible for CR. I didn't see much improvement until I signed up for e-gmat. That’s when I understood what SC was really all about. From there on, I had more time to work on my CR and RC and my verbal scores improved.

As far as time management is concerned, I find the e-gmat videos to be great too. It took me less than 3 weeks to go through the whole thing, (including RC and CR), and the videos are very straight forward.

Hi Mate,

I used both Magoosh and E-gmat.
I used magoosh strictly for quant, and e-gmat for verbal. I think magoosh's explanations on verbal are not very thorough...and it focuses more on finding the "splits" rather than understanding the meaning of every question...
you can find my reviews for both magoosh and e-gmat here:
