Hi there!
I'm guessing you're not the only one who has had that same question!
I recommend a few next steps...
1. Research typical post-MBA career paths. You can do this by reading blogs like Poets & Quants, reviewing the career stats/career reports from different business schools, talking to alums of MBA programs, or checking out our really helpful MBA career primers:
https://shop.mbamission.com/collections/career-primers2. Narrow your target list of schools. First figure out what type of MBA program best suits you...full-time or part-time? Accelerated or standard two-years? And then start to look at other factors like location, specializations, curriculum, rankings, etc. For help on narrowing your target list, check out:

Good luck!

Hi,
A very naive question, but I have noone to gain insight and help from, regarding this.
What are the steps to be taken after giving gmat? And how do one decide which stream to choose for MBA? I am from IT background.
All I am sure about is I don't want to do MBA in IT and Marketing. I have googled enough, but didn't gain much clarity.
I know about Finance, Operations, Analytics faintly. But I am not sure about any of the information gained and I feel I should be sure of what I actually want to do before stepping in full sea.
All I am 100% sure is of that I want to do MBA.
Please help.
Regards
