Hi cbh,

Congratulations on getting accepted. I have applied for round 3 as well and am yet to hear from them. When I check online, I find that the status of most of the supporting documents is received instead of processed. Can you tell me how long it took for you to get all documents processed?

Hi rygmnmkd, I've applied before NY, somewhere in mid-December, so I would say it's one month, month and half, around it. Frankly, I haven't specifically tracked when the docs status changed from received to process.

I have also applied on 15th Jan. I am expecting result by next week. My status of Received change to Processed after 11 days. The video interview didn't go well however. Let's see how it goes.

I'm still waiting for an answer aswell; finished the entire application process on the 15th but dind't send the documents all at once, maybe on a 3-4 days span. I noticed that all the documents under the student file section are processed but the ones under supporting documents are ''received''.

I submitted my application on Jan 15 and video interviews on Jan 21 (after receiving the invite around Jan 16). It's been almost 2 weeks, haven't heard from them yet.. does anyone have any idea about how it works in the last round?

Hi,

I looked at the HEC Montreal website and have few queries. I will be thankful if some admitted/applicant/current student can help answer:
1. Does HEC have 2 intakes per year?
2. I am an Indian applicant with no PR/Visa, when is the next deadline and intake that I can look at?

I received the admissions decision which said my application has been declined due to "limited seats" for this year. They asked me to apply for 2019. Is this a positive remark towards getting admitted for next year? or is it a gentle rejection altogether? Could anyone please help? Thanks

Although I do not know your profile (and that of course has an effect on our possibilities), I would take it positively. Surely if you apply in the first round next time, you will not have this issue (limited seats). And each round of application is different because they compare you to the other candidates that are applying, and those are always different. If you are still on the lower side of their range of ages, then that is also a good sign. In any case, I would not put all my eggs in one basket. And I wouldn't hesitate to call the HEC (ask for Feven) or write her an email to see if you can get their comments on their take on your profile, you have nothing to lose!

Hi Gaura,

HEC Montreal only has 1 intake per year for the English full time MBA, but 2 for the french one.
Regarding your deadline, check the website in the Full Time MBA section, under ADMISSION, you have the rounds and deadlines. It says:
International candidates : Apply no later than Round 2, to leave time for your immigration procedures.

I also got an offer letter today of conditional acceptance today.

Hi jassi, can you please clarify the meaning of "conditional acceptance"
My gmat score is 610 and I've already scheduled another exam, so I'm thinking whether it makes sense to apply with 610 and then just send them the new gmat results if higher.

Hello, in the conditional letter acceptance they are asking me to submit the hard copied of IELTS and transcripts when I report to Montreal. 610 is definitely in the school range, however as an international applicant it could on the lower side.
