Given that they are announcing Dings as well, i guess if you have not heard from them, then your application is pretty much still in review going into home stretch..or its just me desperately trying to be optimistic..

I really, really hope you're right.

It's kind of funny, I have mixed feelings about posting my nervousness to a message board I know they read. Still, I want you to know I appreciate your optimism and I'm waiting right along with you.

Question regarding how McCombs calculates your GPA - it says they only do upper level course work. What is that consisted of? What if I held off an easy lower level year course until senior year ? do they only look at the last 60 hours? my college has lower level courses listed at 2000 level, 3000 level for the business level courses (like your marketing/finance/business stat/international business), and 4000 level for your major courses.

Appreciate any help!

yes that's how I found out, I didn't receive a call, I actually thought it was a deny since the e-mail said something like your status has changed, click here to find out... then the actual website said I was on the waitlist

I haven't heard anything yet. I know tomorrow is the decision deadline, but did McCombs publish a specific time of day by which we should hear? All the results so far seem to be fairly random and sporadic, so it looks like all we can do is wait.

I am in the same boat..checking my email a 1000 times a day.. All we can do is wait and hope that things work out..

I am sure people will still get some invites either today or tommorow, the entire process is not organized in a way where they send out all the invites then dings and then wait lists..We have had people get dinged around the same time as others were getting admits..so they probably have a pool of candidates that they are working on as we get into D day and they will choose an action plan (admit, ding or WL) accordingly..Even last year folks did get admits a day before and even on the decision day...Hang in there !

I think kellogg did it all in one go on decision date. McCombs has been doing dings and admits around the same time for some days now..I still think the communicate a decision as soon they have it ready and thats why we have been getting a mixed bag of dings and admits pretty much all week. From what we know, folks have received admits on Wednesday..some have gotten dings on wednesday and folks have received WL's today...
