I just got the accepted phone call. They let me know that they'll be sending/emailing an admissions packet and let me know a little about preview weekend.
Good luck everyone!

To update this, I am a R2 non-consortium applicant from the US. I interviewed 2/12 with an alumni in my city.
The call was from a 512 area code. I talked with a 1st year student, he didn't have any scholarship info for me. The link he gave me for admitted students (and that is in the email) doesn't actually have any info on it yet (or at least I don't have access to it).
Got Accepted!! Yesterday I got an e-mail saying that a decision was made on my application, which I thought was bad news, and when I log into the application status page I saw the letter of acceptance. I ‘am international student, my interview was on 2/13/14 On campus, and McCombs is my only option therefore I will be there next fall =) Best to all!
Congrats to the admits, but McCombs is really sending out acceptances like 3 weeks before the deadline? That's crazy! What's annoying is that google puts their e-mails in "promotions". So I'll have to do a search for "Texas" and "McCombs" constantly. I almost missed my interview because of that too. I booked an interview like a week after getting an invite.
Are R1 Waitlisted applicants considered again in R2? If not, only after R2/R3?
Are any updates or supplemental materials to the application welcome?
On last year's forum I saw that McCombs allowed applicants to send a video response...will there be something similar this year?
@All
Anyone on WL heard anything?

GL to all! Hook'em.

Waitlisted candidates can be reviewed and reconsidered at any point in the process. Please only send updates if you have a new position or expanded responsibilities or a new test score. We will likely not ask for video responses this year.
I just missed a call from someone in the Admissions Office who wanted to "touch base about the status of my application" but no need to call back because I would be hearing from them very shortly... No e-mail yet. Should I call back? Or just wait it out...?

So will the people that get no communication have to be nervous for 3 weeks waiting for an answer? Ugh.
Ha, that's what it's looking like.

Looks like you're in the same boat as me with McDonough. I really thought that was my best shot as their acceptance rate is pretty damn high. McCombs looks daunting to me now.

Yeah, I feel your pain. I thought that was my best shot as well. I think i'm at the point of expect the worst hope for the best. It is seriously hard to be optimistic, but i'm trying. Best of luck to you and hopefully, we can celebrate our acceptances soon enough!!

Thanks! Agreed. You never know. It's not really as linear as better ranked school with lower acceptance rate doesn't accept you if worse ranked school with higher acceptance rate doesn't. Goizueta for example had the 3rd highest acceptance rate from my 4 schools I think and was the only school I got dinged without an interview.
