You need to contact your university or country of origin’s credential assembly service and request a complete transcript that has the words “official transcript” printed on it. You can have the issuing authority send it directly to McCombs or upload itself as a PDF if available.

Albeit my response is delayed. But I hope this helps.
Although McCombs kept the prompt for optional essay clear and straight, the number of colleges that adhere to the strict definition of optional questions is outweighed by those that encourage you to provide "any other information" about you.
The optional essay gives you one more chance to demonstrate your distinctiveness to the committee, who may be overwhelmed with the number of applications but are still professionals looking for interesting candidates! Fewer questions and shorter word limits have been the current trends in B School applications. An optional essay can prove crucial in unraveling a new layer of your profile.

In general, better to follow the guideline - the more competitive the college (especially US schools), the more you should try to attempt the optional question. By omitting the optional essay, you could risk giving the unintended impression that you have nothing to offer in the way of remarkable accomplishments or experiences. Sharing a well-written optional essay effectively communicates the opposite.

The purpose of an optional essay can be two-fold.
1. Giving all of the justifications and extenuating factors; these are the sorts of things you are likely to address because failing to do so will raise Adcom's concerns.
2. Interesting discretionary themes to tell the ad com something new and important about your candidacy.
Although you must try to be as clear and succinct as you can in either case.

I received an invite for that saying ’This chat is only for Full-Time MBA Round 1 applicants. You will be asked to log in with your EID. Then click on "Register" and then select "Add Myself".’

So the link won’t work directly
