The years of work experience counted on the application are till the time you submit your application.
Since you are applying for 2024 intake, you will have 2 years and 2 months of work experience given you submit your application in September, Round 1.
Many schools do have a hard limit of 2 years of work experience for their MIM program. But, a few schools do accept work experience up to 3 years. You might try and search for these schools.
You can't exactly apply for MBA unless you are applying for 2025 intake, that too at a few schools.
Most MBA programs have an average of 5 years of work experience, like M7 schools. So, do consider it all.
Good luck.
Posted from my mobile deviceHi, thank you for the information.
If you have an idea about this, do HEC Paris and Insead MiM programs, in particular, have a hard limit of 2 years? I did read on the website that the preferred work experience is upto 2 years but I don't know if they consider applicants with a little more experience or not (2 yrs 2 months in my case).
