Hi, I need help with evaluation of my profile for MiM at INSEAD.
I will be applying in Round 2.
GMAT - 700 (Q51 V32)
GPA - 4
Undergraduate School - Indian Institute of technology, Roorkee
Major - Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
Work experience -
1) 12 months as a Product Manager in ICICI Bank (one of the top finance and banking company in India)
2) I founded a startup and led a team of 20 people including designers, web developers and fellow engineers
3) 2 months as a Marketing Intern in Dhanwantari Distributors Pvt. Ltd., a B2C health supplements company
Extra curricular -
1) Learnt film making from Film and Television Institue of India and wrote screen play for many videos as a part of cinematic section of my UG college. I also directed a short film.
2) Founded Stand-up Comedy club at my college and performed at various events
3) Deputy General Secretary of Wellness Center, IIT Roorkee. Organized workshops, peer counseling, guest lectures on wellness, Face-To-Face counseling, and e-counseling services.
4) General Secretary of Metallurgical Engineering Society, IIT Roorkee. Led a team of 24 people, organized numerous events and created a platform for students to bond with the faculty members and help them work as a team.
5) Executive Member of National Service Scheme (NSS), IIT Roorkee. Looked at the potential NGOs for collaboration and organized and promoted Blood Donation Camp in IIT Roorkee.
6) Was a part of Cure Cancer Awareness Society for generating awareness against this dreaded disease among the masses and raising substantial donations for the cause. Received a Certificate of Merit from the Cure Cancer Awareness Society for the social service for the control of cancer as per the guidelines of World Health Organization
Awards -
1) 2nd Rank, Google Startup Weekend
2) Numerous national and international maths and science olympiad merit ranking certificates
3) Numerous Elocution competition awards in 3 languages - English, Hindi and Marathi
Project -
Fabrication of Hybrid Compound Filler Material for Biodegradable Orthopedic Implant (2021), as a part of final year bachelors project.
I will be applying in Round 2.

In terms of work, As a product manager, you have witnessed and assisted in its development, and you can create a compelling narrative from it. Additionally, having a startup identifies you as someone who wants to change the archaic societal processes and awards you bonus points for the risk component. Also highlight your learnings from the internship.
Now, since you have a vast range of ECs (including film-making and screenplay writing courses), you must highlight the relevant skills developed. Also being a part of Cure Cancer Awareness Society for generating awareness against this dreaded disease among the masses and raising substantial donations for the cause and receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Cure Cancer Awareness Society for the social service for the control of cancer as per the guidelines of World Health Organization highlights your social responsibilities and factor to work for the betterment of the people. Also being a founder of a standup club diversifies your profile. Coming to your post-MiM goals, you need to be clear while mentioning your goals, like what sector or industry, any corporate you would prefer to work for, and vision-related to your company!
All in all, you do have a decent profile; however, you must understand that INSEAD requires more than just factual information and professional brilliance. Therefore, you need to mesmerize the Adcom with your essays, align them with the school values. I find your Startup a unique point in your profile and something that I would like to know more about the experience you had, and try to connect it with your experience because I believe that It could be a game-changer in your aspect!
