I would truly appreciate some advice. I am planning to apply for part time OR Executive MBA program. I am more inclined to apply for executive MBA as it does not require GMAT or EA. I have the following schools after doing research of their programs and my location preference -
I am currently located in Boston. And my next best location is California. I eventually do plan to move to California in future.
School preference -
1. MIT EMBA program (does not require GMAT/ EA)
2. ROSS EMBA program in LA (does not require GMAT/ EA)
3. UC Berkeley Part time MBA (does require GMAT/ EA, otherwise it was my top preference)
My focus is on brand name as well. Plus these are good programs also. Could you please share some light into which is the best or any other programs that I should consider. I mostly just want to go for MBA for getting a good educational background, learnings, a degree from a good institute (only done engineering from India) plus it will provide advancement in my career as well.

Do you currently have a full-time job in the US? Because executive programs require that you are working full-time. However, it might be possible for you to move to Berkeley for the E W MBA. Before you write off any programs that require a test score, you might consider looking at the executive assessment which is a fairly light exam as compared to the GMAT. Might be worthwhile to take a mock exam. Other programs that do not require a GMAT which are executive include Kellogg and NYU Stern. If you plan to move to Southern California there's a fair degree of cross semination between New York and California.

All those are pretty good programs given the associated brands. The mileage from EMBAs/part-time programs is always a bit limited in terms of career change. So, as long as you are realistic about your expectations, the best way to figure the ideal program is location proximity/convenience.
