Please review the following profile

GMAT 720 (Q49, V39)
UG GPA: 7.58/10 (Bachelor of Engineering from NSIT, Delhi University in Computer Engineering (2016-2020))
Current Work Ex: 14 Months as Software Developer at Flipkart (+3 months if we count internships during UG)
Some Volunteer work under Teach For India where i teach science to under priviliged students (2 months and currently ongoing).

Target Schools:
INSEAD
London Business School
HEC Paris
Michigan
ESSEC
or any other good that i have missed.

I plan to do an MBA after 5-6 years from now, will MiM provide an edge in my MBA application (as I currently represent indian IT male applicant pool which is generally very much over-respresented in MBA, so MiM will change my profile) or will it be a barrier? Is it advisable to go for MiM now or should i just wait 5-6 years for MBA?

Hello,
I am a June 2019 pass out in B. Tech ECE with 67.30%. I couldn't find a job and earlier I prepared for CAT and couldn't clear. So afterwards I decided to give GMAT a try I gave my first attempt in FEB 2021 with a score of 530(Q-46,V-17,IR-3) and prepared for 6 months for verbal hoping to get a 680 or so, and apply in Round 1 deadline to get a decent university in USA or Canada and apply in Masters in Finance but I again end up getting a same score 530 (Q-47,V-17,IR-5,AWA-6). I am a little confused should I apply with score of 530 or prepare for 2 months or so and apply in round 2 or to get a job and reapply next year for 2023 intake that would be too much time wasted. Your recommendation is highly appreciated.

There are a few question :-
1. Should I be preparing for IELTS or TOEFL or BOTH side by side as my first preference is USA and second is Canada.
2. If I apply in Round 2 what are the chances of getting admitted considering my profile. I don't want to apply in a low ranking university and have a bleak chance to get employment.
3. Is there anything else you recommend doing side by side to make my profile stronger.
4. I wish to apply with a good GMAT score try to get admitted in a university under 300 rank. Would that be possible if I apply in round 2 with GMAT 650+.

Dear all,

I have now decided which programmes to apply for and have secured an extra internship. I would be very grateful for an assessment on whether I have realistic chances of getting accepted or not.

Background: German citizen, studied in the UK for 3 years (GSCE, then International Baccalaureate).
Undergrad: GPA of 3.0/4.0 at a technical university consistently ranked as the best German university. My programme is a combination of Management (60%) and Computer Science (40%). I spent two months abroad in South Africa on a study project. My thesis was quant-heavy and at the Chair for Capital Markets.
GMAT: I scored 650, 690, 680 and 730 in practise tests in that order. I will keep studying and take the GMAT in about 5 weeks.
Extra-curricular: Very active member in a student consultancy and the investment club at my university.
Work Experience: Internships at Allianz (Digital Factory) and Deutsche Bank (Asset Management), both 4 months. I will also intern on the investment team of a local private equity fund for 6 months, starting October.
Voluntary work: Business plan consultant for inmates aiming to become entrepreneurs after their release.
Special Achievements: Elected Head of House & Head of Sixth Form in my high school.

Target Masters: Bocconi (Finance), LBS (Financial Analysis), Imperial (Investment Management), SSE (Finance), Skema (Finance), EDHEC (Finance)

Thank you & kind regards :)

Dear All,

It would be great if you could evaluate my profile, and help me decide where I should apply. I am only interested in UK.

Background: Indian citizen, working in General Management role in manufacturing industry
Undergrad: Engineering (First Class)
Postgrad: MS in Engineering (Telecom), USA - 3.65 GPA
GMAT: 700 (Q48, V37)
Age: 37 yrs
Work experience: Around 10+ years in Manufacturing industry - Managerial roles like procurement and supply chain.
Other Finance related experience: Passed CFA Level 1, completed some quant finance courses and machine learning courses online.

What should I target, considering I am 37 years old, and most students for MS in Finance would be 22-30 (I am guessing). Do I have a shot at the good shools?

LSE, LBS MFA, Oxford? Or at least Warwick, Manchester, Edinburgh etc.?

I am very much interested in Finance, and am writing the CFA L2 in Nov 2021. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Background and nationality - Complete bachelors in Accounting & Finance with CGPA 7.23 (India). I also cleared CFA L2.
Interested in MscFin.
GMAT- will appear in Oct 2021, confident enough to score somewhere between 680-710. On a very lucky side, 730/740 can be achieved.
Work experience and leadership- I am currently employed with 6 months experience and will complete a whole year. I am in position called Subject Expert - finance.
Post Master goals- Really interested in asset and portfolio management.

From all the colleges I looked in EU, my undergrad scores makes me a weak profile. However, I finally came across SSE sweden and really loved it. However, i am not able get hand on first hand experience over there. Is MFin any good there? They have decent curriculum spammed over 2 years and i would love to hear any more regarding the same.

Can you suggest any more colleges with my profile in Msc Fin course? Thank you.

I am hoping to apply for the top European MSF programs.
Background and nationality: Nordic citizenship but African decent.
Undergrad Information: 3.4 GPA from top university in my country studying international business.
GMAT/GRE: Yet to be taken but expected ~700-720.
Work experience and leadership: 4 month internship in accounting at a large oil & gas company. Completed military conscription and gained some leadership experience there.
Community and others: Helped found a run a non-profit in high-school that ran youth centers and other services for youth in immigrant communities.
Post Master goals: IB or other high finance roles, preferably in London.

I understand that the best way to a job in London is a school nearby but I’m not sure about that anymore since the UK government isn’t giving loans for tuition to EU students; should I apply anyway and get private loans?

Thanks in advance
