Hi all,
Please guide me on which all colleges i should target for my second MBA?
Background: B.Tech, MBA
Work Experience: 5.5 years (Citibank as Assistant Manager, HSBC as AVP, corporate banking), profiles were broadly client acquiring and managing.
Want to pursue my second MBA. GMAT score target: 700-720
my area of interest is leadership but confused which to choose among MBA courses and accordingly which colleges I should target.
Please guide me on which all colleges i should target for my second MBA?
Background: B.Tech, MBA
Work Experience: 5.5 years (Citibank as Assistant Manager, HSBC as AVP, corporate banking), profiles were broadly client acquiring and managing.
Want to pursue my second MBA. GMAT score target: 700-720
my area of interest is leadership but confused which to choose among MBA courses and accordingly which colleges I should target.

Hi. I suggest you poke around the decision tracker:

(I set the country to India thinking that usually only Indian applicants get second MBA's so feel free to change it/update it).
Industry was set as commercial banking (is that right?) I set it at "Admitted" but I would also poke around the Dinged to compare the volume of Admitted vs. Dinged. That gives you an idea how many people out of the group got admitted vs. Dinged. For example if you get 80 dinged and 20 admitted, that means the top 20% got admitted. So you get an idea how you compare.
You can also poke at specific programs and narrow it down to US/International/other schools.

Hi Mansimanseee,
Inetrestingly, leadership is an inbuilt component at every business school. The prepare you to become leaders of tomorrows and have a lot of leadership developing componens interspersed through the MBA.
Typically, you will decide what kind of an MBA eductaion you want based upon your post MBA career goals. If you wish to build a career in general management in a Bank for instance, you would focus more on courses related to stategy and mangement. If you wish to be in a finance heavy role, you would focus upon finance courses....its somewhat intuitive. Your career goals will also determine the kind of activities, clubs, internship you do while at b-school. So first, to undersand where you wish to apply, you will need a stronger grasp of your career goals.
