Hi there,
I will take the GMAT exam for the first time in seven weeks and need to get a score of around 600-650. I scored 470 on the prep, but I did take it on two separate days and would think that I could get around 500 if I had focused and made a serious effort.
Now, my question is if this is enough to score 600 in seven weeks. I have planned to study all the OG material, then check the Manhattan books on the parts that I'm unsure of. Or, do you think that I should study the Manhattan books first and then take the OG questions?
What are my chances to succeed?

Hi a03,
About 5 months ago (in March), you posted that you were planning to start your studies - and that you would be 100% focused on your studies from June to August. How did you actual studies during that time end up? What type of study routine did you follow and what study materials did you use?
If this is the only practice CAT that you've taken, then we really don't have a true assessment of your current skills, strengths and weaknesses. Considering the limited study timeframe you're discussing, you're going to have to be really organized and committed during these next 7 weeks to hit your Score Goal. As such, I strongly recommend that you take one of the Official GMAC CATs this weekend and take it in a realistic fashion (take a NEW CAT - one that you have NOT taken before, take the FULL CAT - with the Essay and IR sections, take it away from your home, at the same time of day as when you'll take the Official GMAT, etc.). Once you have that score, you should report back here and we can discuss how best to proceed.
