Hi all,
I had taken the gmat on 25th jan. There was some furniture work going on in another room which was adjacent to the test room. There were consistent sounds of hammer causing distraction. I was provided with ear plugs as well as ear muffs but they were insufficient to block the heavy noise. During the break, the admin told me that since the work is going on in some other premise, it is not under his control to stop that work. Due to the time pressure, I was not in a position to complain or argue about anything. I just tried to calm myself and concentrate. Somehow I managed until the quant section. During the verbal section it got even harder to concentrate. I was losing concentration frequently, sometimes reading each line twice and getting nervous. My final score was 620 (Q48,V27, IR7). I accepted the score though it was not satisfactory especially verbal. In the mocks I was scoring 32-34. After the test, the admin informed me that he has already raised the concern to the GMAC from his end. I left the centre without any argument.
Pls advise, should I register any complain from my end too or should I first wait for any response? Also if I need to complain, what is the procedure.
Thanks
first of all sympathy for your test day Second i think you should wait for any response
