Hi guys,

I have been reading this forum for a while and the content and advice here have been impressive.

I am planning to take the GMAT sometime next year, and I am gonna get the Official GMAT Guide to begin with. However, am I better off to wait for the 14th edition to come out in Mar 2013, or there's not gonna be much difference in the newer edition, based on previous experience?

Hi guys,

Only GMAC can answer this accurately. However based on previous experience - There are not too many new questions in OG13 compared to OG12. However there were many new questions in OG 12 compared to OG11. Having said that, note that OG 13 has new IR section. (which is required due to change in GMAT exam format).
But the importatnt point is- do u want to wait for 5-6 months just because u want a newer version of a book?

As far as we know, the GMAC hasn't announced the release of Official Guide 14th edition yet. Can you cite the source of this news ?

I would just buy the 13 edition. It isn't worth the wait for the next edition. Plus each new edition only has about 100 new questions.
