Hi Tactic101,
In the current version of the GMAT, the Quant section has 31 questions. If your score report/data for this practice CAT shows just 30 questions, then you were not credited with answering the 31st question. While any questions that are unanswered incur a penalty - the damage here (from leaving just one question unanswered) would have been negligible (likely a 0 - 10 point drop in your overall Score, depending on how you were performing up to that point in the Quant section).
Earlier this year, you were planning to take the GMAT in May or early June. Did you end up taking the GMAT as planned (and if so, then how did you score - including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

Hi Rich,
I appreciate the answer and you asking about my progress. That makes sense and what I suspected. I assume it's better to answer an incorrect question than to leave it blank, but could you confirm?
I didn't take the test; I actually postponed it and have focused exclusively on Quant since then. I took the second official test scoring a 47Q/42V/8IR compared to a 35/46/4. While my verbal went down, I think a 12 point increase in quant is a huge success and confidence boost. I haven't studied verbal in over three months and took it raw. My goal in the next 3 weeks before the exam is to get back up to pace with Verbal and keep perfecting quant. Cheers
