I am a healthcare professional working in a leadership position. I am looking to move up in my career and need a MBA to do so. There is only one in person part time option in my city (University of Alberta) and this would be in person on evenings and weekends. The other schools I will apply to offer online formats and DO NOT require the GMAT. I am 38 years old, work full time and have two school aged children in competitive sports. The online option is very attractive given my life circumstances. I also like the idea of not having to dedicate 15 hours a week for three months to mastering the GMAT. I have not been in school since I convocated in 2006. My score on the GMAT practice exam with no review was a 530.
I am particularly interested in hearing from Canadians who have completed or are currently in these types of programs. I am looking at the MBA program at the University of Fredericton, due to its affordability and online course options. Thank you!
