Hi all,

I'm applying for the Oxford MFE for 2018 admission and am wondering whether or not to retake the GMAT, given my profile:

Degree: BA Economics and Management at Oxford, predicted 2.i
Modules: Micro, Macro, Quantitative Economics, Econometrics, Strategy, Finance, Game Theory, Economics of Industry
GMAT: 760 (99th) - Q49 (75th) V44 (98th) IR 8 (93rd)

I'm wondering whether or not I should retake the GMAT given that quant is in the 75th percentile even at Q49 (which I think is weird, are they expecting Q51 for 90th percentile?!), although the overall score is 99th. Would greatly appreciate any advice!

When I obtained 720 and considered retaking the exam everyone thought I was crazy, Retaking a 760 would be pure madness. I think GPA and GMAT are okay, the other application components will make the difference

Good luck, hopefully we will meet in Oxford! (I will apply for next year too)
