Calling all Johnson (Cornell) Applicants: (2017 Intake) Class of 2019!

I finished my Skype interview yesterday, and it went well. It was conducted by the admissions director herself, and was very conversational; lasted about 45 mins in total.

Here is the list of questions I was asked:

Walk me through your resume
Short term goals and long term goals
From your resume, it seems like you can transition to your future company right now. So, why an MBA, and why now?
Why Johnson?
What would you bring to the Johnson classroom?
What are somethings that your co-workers will say about you?
How will you get that job at your future company? How will you make that happen?
Give me three bullet points that you want the admissions committee to know about yourself.
What other schools have you applied to?
What do you do in your leisure time?

Then it was time for me to ask questions.

Cannot wait to hear back now!

My interview was similar, although I have not heard for many weeks now...Let's hope something comes back this week!

Applied a day before R1 deadline. Interviewed 11/9, still waiting to hear back.

If you didn't get invited to LEAD event, does it imply you did not get Park Fellowship?

Is the LEAD event happening this week? I guess a lot of admission decisions will start getting out after that..

Any R1 applicant who was interviewed and yet to get a decision contacted the adcom?

I just returned from the LEAD event last week (for R1 applicants). They told us to expect up to 3 weeks to hear an admissions decision. So there is still plenty of time!

I interviewed on 11/29 (R2 applicant) - almost a week ago, and my status on the portal still says "Schedule Interview". Is that normal?

Yeah they don't update right away; I wouldn't worry about that.

if it is 3 weeks, then we are looking at between Christmas and New Years. Deposit/transcript deadline is 1/10. Is it normal to only give about 1-2 weeks to let you make desicion and get transcript?
Considering it still takes time for my UG school to mail them the transcript, it'll be a tight deadline.

Was there as well. It sounded more like it would be 'within' three weeks, which would be the 23rd at the latest.

This wait is absolutely brutal...It feels like I applied and have been interviewed years ago. Johnson should just convert to a decision date as opposed to this rolling deadline BS.

Does anyone know what the odds of being accepted are if an applicant is actually interviewed?

Anybody who attended LEAD hear back yet? silent on my end. They said 3 weeks but I assumed it would come a lot sooner :/
