Just received notification of acceptance (missed call yesterday + email yesterday + status update today with scholarship info).
Attended LEAD but did not receive Park Fellowship - instead received $49k/year merit scholarship (very grateful). Guessing anyone from LEAD who has not heard back yet is still in the Park running, so good luck to you all!
So, looking at the fun that the October applicants are going through, can anyone surmise Cornell's general response timeline for November applicants? When I initially saw "Initial Response By:" I thought - I will know my final status (though reading closer they obviously state otherwise).
I am expecting this to be a fruitless endeavor with the real statement being that there is probably a better way to do this.
Does anybody think there will be a wave of final decisions by the end of this week? I suppose if we don't hear by the end of the week, the latest that Rd 1 applicants will hear back will be the end of next week (before Christmas)...

Exactly what I was thinking. When I first saw the overlap between different rounds, I thought there was some clever reason behind this. However from what I see here and the Admissions Team's blogging speed, I've made up my mind that the November Deadline is more in line with Jan Deadline of other schools.
Got the Acceptance Call at around 12:30PM EST so keep your phones close at hand guys. I interviewed November 22nd I believe. SO STOKED RIGHT NOW!!! Good luck to the rest of you.
I'm still waiting, but so is a large portion of R1. I applied R2 and have had only a little contact with admissions. I hope all of the R1 people hear today or tomorrow.
hey Guys - I am an applicant whose been living here in the US for 7 years, but not a citizen. I am an indian applicant, an architect with global exp. I have a gmat of 710, is it even worth applying R2 ?
