I was doing a question in official guide and looking at the solutions the gmat says that this statemet violates parallelism, can you explain me why?
E) was proposing that the amount they were allocating be reduced by nearly 17 percent from the previous year for maintaining the city's major cultural institutions and for the subsidization
I thought that those two were 2 prepositional phrases because they started both with for.
By the way I know that this sentence as a Whole is wrong
