police investigative officer tells his colleague:
- i have three information from my agents regarding one murder, but can not solve it. my first agent says that if fred was drunk, then either mike is murderer or frenk lies. second agent says either mike is murderer or fred was not drunk and murder happened after midnight. third says that if murder happened after midnight then either mike is murderer or fred lies.
- i know who the murderer is, answered his colleague...
but i don't
couple questions:
if "frenk" a different guy than "fred"?
Does the second agent mean:
"Either (Mike is muderer OR fred was not drunk) AND murder happened after midnight".
or does he say:
"Either (mike is murderer) OR (fred was not drunk AND murder happened after midnight).
Both imply different things....
