As far as I can see on the forum, Indians based in US have got invites.

Till when are the interview invites sent for Tepper. I was expecting an invite but no invite yet :(


Hi, I am from Delhi and I have received an invite. One of my friends in Delhi have received an invite too.

You're not alone! I went back and checked last year's forum and it seems that when this happens has no bearing on when or if you are invited.

I got app incomplete email on 7th Oct. I was not sure what to upload. I uploaded my resume again and then it was moved to complete and sent for review. (I didn't receive any complete email though. )

I guess the app incomplete thing might have slowed our processing, and maybe their is a second wave of invites still left. Only the initial invites have been sent out.

Like most MBA programs besides Ross, HBS, Wharton, etc who all release on a specific date, CMU sends invites all the way through out the round....its not really "waves" its just based on when they read your app and there is definitely more than one "wave" because of this....you can read last year's forum to see what is normal for CMU interivew invites.

So couldn't submit.

Hey Guys!

Can somebody tell me what is happening with Tepper this season? I can still see only two invites to Indian candidates and its already 21st Oct. Can we still expect interview invites or is the R1 invites over?

Hey Guys, I believe we should wait for next set of wave. As far as I know, Tepper releases results in two waves

1. Immediately after submission - High GMAT Scorers/IITians
2. After reviewing the applications - 2 to 3 weeks of deadline.

Since we didn't receive any invite yet, consider us a part of #2.

Still didn't receive an invite..why this discrimination :(

I have a 770 and I'm an IITian

Still didn't receive an invite..why this discrimination :(


I would take these theories with a grain of salt. IIT grads with high gmats make up a huge portion of the applicant pool and aneven larger portion of these sites. SO that often leads to these theories that Indians with high GMATs got invites first when in reality the spread of the background of the first invites could be much broader.

Its been a long wait, and last year many invites had gone out at this point..just trying to judge the chances of an invite now.
