Deadlines: Round 1 : Oct 4, 2017 Round 2 : Jan 4. 2018 Round 3 : March 9, 2018 Decision Release Round 1 : Dec 13, 2017 Round 2 : March 14. 2018 Round 3 : May 9, 2018 REQUIRED ESSAY Tell us about yourself! There are no right or wrong answers. Be authentic and tell us what we won’t learn about you in the rest of your application. Imagine that you meet up with a member of the admission committee at an airport while on a layover. You have an opportunity to make a memorable impression. Use this essay to introduce yourself. Include any information that you believe is important for the committee member to know about you, both professionally and personally. Only one essay is required. Requirements: 300-350 words maximum, 12-point font, double-spaced OPTIONAL ESSAY There also is an optional essay for additional information about your candidacy that you may wish to share with the admissions committee. Use this essay to convey important information that you may not have otherwise been able to convey. This may include unexplained resume gaps, context for recommender selection, etc. If you are a re-applicant, explain how your candidacy has strengthened since your last application. Let's start the discussion and get into Tepper this year.

SO I looked at the forum from last year and it looks like Tepper send their invites out really early! As in two days after the deadline. Maybe we will see some invites this week or next!

I am a re-applicant and I have just submitted the application for this year. But I forgot to answer optional essay (Which I think is mandatory for re-applicants) and submitted the application without it only.

You can contact the admission officers and let them know that a particular required component is missing. Infact if it is required component they will send out an email asking for it anyways but you can do it by approaching them prior as well. Mostly they will ask you to upload it from the upload documents section accessible on status page.

**** !! I think you should quickly send out an email to them and attach your optional essay. Just tell them you missed uploading the same. Do this before the deadline ends. Keep us posted. All the best

Best of luck to everyone. Anyone receive an interview invite yet? I'm preparing my application now for R2 submission. I just scheduled my interview for November during the Diversity Event.

I would be surprised if there were invites today since it is the deadline date....but invites did go out two days after the deadline last year....so maybe Friday?

I have e-mailed them and uploaded the document on the status page. Let's see what happens next!!

Also follow up on this issue with them to make sure they received it and attached it to your application. Sometimes issues like this may delay processing. So better to follow up. All the best
