herxheys, p^2-q^2 = (p-q)(p+q) hence (p+q) gets divided by denominator. (p-q) is left. p is definitively going to be greater than p-q since we know q<=p and both p & q are positive. this is the answer algebraically. but for other options test cases will be needed to eliminate them.
