Hi
I took the GMAT about 6 months ago and have been wrestling with whether or not to retake it for pretty much the entire time. I am not applying to B-school for about 3 years (currently starting work) so I am not in a rush. I don't really want to take it again, but I did score around 30 points lower than the averages on my official GMAT practice tests I had received prior to the real thing. I know it is a good score and a good balance but I am getting paranoid about the rising averages of GMAT scores over the time until I start applying. What is your opinion? I provided some details below for context:
GMAT score: 720 (Q50, V38)
GMAT practice test average: 750 (over 4 tests)
Undergrad GPA: 3.84 from University of Southern California, in dual major (computer science and business)
White male, working in Project management
Planning to apply to prestigious programs, namely: Haas, Columbia, Fuqua, UCLA, NYU, Kellogg, Tuck, Yale
Thanks!
