WE: 34 Months of Work upon Application Submission
24 Months of Work in Asian Country
- Industry: Food Import & Export; Food Production; Retail & Sales
- Duties: Purchasing & Billing, Shipping & Logistics, Human Resources
- Supervision: Supervised by Senior Administrative Clerk & General Manager; Supervise 3 Stocking Assistants
10 Months of Work in the U.S.
- Industry: Business Conslting
- Duties: Marketing Research & Planning, Web Development, Instructional Design
- Supervision: Supervised by Manager; Supervised 1 Summer Intern)
- Awards: Completion of Internship Program and Promotion to Business Coordinator
GMAT 700
Cumulative GPA 2.55
Major GPA 2.76
Graduated from Top 100 U.S. University (Public Institution)
(Completed honors program in community college; lost of 2 family members causing me to spend a great deal of time for recovery)
Following are my desired schools and its MBA & related Programs:
UMass Amherst: MBA + MSB&A
Boston University: MBA/MSDi
Northeastern: MBA + MS in Business Analytics
UConn: MBA + MS in Business Analytics and Project Management
Syracuse: MBA + MS in Business Analytics
Anyone please kindly advise my chances of getting accepted in any of the above school and chances of receiving the scholarship. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for posting. So your international experience and solid GMAT should make you attractive to the programs you are targeting. I like your list. Make sure you address your GPA head on in an optional essay...explain what happened and why and what you would do differently today, knowing what you know now. Your GPA for me is the one red flag. Schools view GMAT as the sprint and GPA as the marathon...they want to know that you will be academically successful in their program, and the best signal for that is how you did in undergrad.
Scholarships are really dependent on each school, so unfortunately I'm not able to advise on your chances there. I think your best bet would be to focus on programs where your GMAT is significantly above the average for the program...enough so that they will overlook the GPA. But this is just a hunch.
